Paw-It-Forward with Mini Mabel & Arnaud 🐾💛

For our annual Paw-It-Forward fundraiser this October, we are rallying together for a cause that means the absolute world to us: Children’s Hospice South West.
Every family deserves the chance to make the most of their short, precious lives together, and that is precisely what CHSW does. They provide a vital circle of care for babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions, supporting the whole family through thick and thin.
Whether it is a much-needed respite stay, emergency support, palliative care, or end-of-life comfort, their doors are always open at their three wonderful hospices: Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset, and right here on our doorstep at Little Harbour in Cornwall.
We would love nothing more than for our wonderful community to join us in supporting them this month. Every little bit helps make a huge difference to families going through the unimaginable.
Thank you so much for reading, sharing, and helping us give back this October! 🐾
My Updates
Looking back at 70 miles, tiny paws, and a whole lot of heart! 🐾💚
Sunday 23rd Aug
As we kick off our Paw-It-Forward fundraising for this October, we couldn't help but look back at the incredible journey we shared last year for Children’s Hospice South West, and what a wild ride it was!
To recap last year's mission: 70 miles walked across Cornwall, countless muddy paw prints, and a whopping £330 raised for such an extraordinary cause.
Led by yours truly (Mini Mabel, Chihuahua Detective and Champion Distance Walker), Arnaud and I turned our fundraising into a proper Cornish investigation. We explored misty coastal paths, trotted across the magical cobbled causeway of St Michael’s Mount, and were even joined along the way by an elite squadron of chihuahuas in Truro and our brilliant Shihpoo friends, Maud and Mabel, up at Kit Hill.
We were blown away by support coming in from all over, from right here in Cornwall and across the UK, all the way to Pennsylvania, USA!
But the most unforgettable moment came when a family who actually uses the hospice reached out personally to share their story. On the wind-battered, soggy days when every step felt heavy, hearing from them reminded us exactly why we were putting paw after paw.
It proved something we always try to remember: you don’t have to be big to make a difference, and sometimes the smallest paws leave the biggest prints.
Thank you all for backing us then, and thank you for stepping up with us again this October. Let’s make this year just as special!
Paws crossed and hearts full,
Mini Mabel & Arnaud 🐾
