70 Miles for CHSW 🐾

Monday 21st Sep

This October, myself, husband and golden retriever, Rusty, are taking on a little challenge in aid of a brilliant cause - 70 miles in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Walking has become such a normal part of our everyday life. Rain or shine, we head out with Rusty for our daily walks. It’s something we’re incredibly lucky to be able to take for granted and an excuse to spend time together.

So, this October, we wanted to turn something so ordinary to us into something that could make a real difference to someone else.

We’ll be walking 70 miles throughout the month, raising money to support the incredible work CHSW does for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Behind every mile is a family who may be facing some of the hardest days imaginable, and an organisation providing comfort, care and support when they need it most. 💚

October is also a little extra special for me, as it’s the month I turn 30. A new decade feels like the perfect time to pause, appreciate just how lucky we are, and do something meaningful for others.

Because if our everyday walks can help make sure that somewhere out there, a child and their family are receiving the care and support they desperately need, then every single mile will be worth it. Even if those 70 miles come with a generous helping of rain, muddy paws and a very soggy golden retriever! 🌧️
