I'm fundraising for Children's Hospice South West who provide hospice care for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and their families. Hospice care includes stays, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care at their 3 children's hospices; Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall.

🐾 100 Miles with Beau for Children’s Hospice South West
Tuesday 29th SepMichelle & Beau’s October Challenge ❤️
This October, my 14-month-old Sprocker, Beau, and I are taking on a big challenge — walking 100 miles throughout October to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West.
This is a charity that is particularly close to my heart because my great-nephew, Mackenzie, spends respite time with Children’s Hospice South West. Knowing first-hand the support, care and special time the hospice provides to children and their families makes this fundraising challenge even more meaningful to me.
🚶♀️🐕 100 miles in October
Beau is only 14 months old and absolutely full of energy, so she’s going to be my perfect walking companion!
Together, we’re aiming to complete 100 miles throughout October — around 3.2 miles every day.
There will hopefully be plenty of beautiful autumn walks, although I’m sure there will also be plenty of muddy paws, wet coats and tired legs along the way! 🐾😂
I’ll be sharing our progress throughout the month, including photos from our walks and updates on how many miles we’ve completed.
❤️ Why I’m doing this
Children’s Hospice South West does something incredibly special for children and their families. They provide care, support and respite, giving families precious time together and creating memories.
Having Mackenzie spend respite time with the hospice has given me an even greater appreciation of just how important their work is.
So, this October, Beau and I will be walking every one of those 100 miles with Mackenzie and all the families supported by the hospice in our thoughts. ❤️
